Virtual Patient Environment
Computational simulation of evolving pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and patient-response states.
ADAPTIVE ANESTHESIA AI
Developing a clinician-in-the-loop clinical-intelligence layer for anesthesia — integrating pharmacological modeling, physiological response and patient-state interpretation to support explainable, patient-adaptive clinical decisions.
Technology under development. Not a commercially available medical device.
CLINICAL INTELLIGENCE LAYER
THE OPPORTUNITY
Modern anesthesia environments increasingly combine advanced infusion systems, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models, physiological monitoring and connected digital platforms.
Together, these technologies generate increasingly rich information about drug delivery and patient response.
The next opportunity may not be simply to generate more data. It may be to interpret pharmacology, physiology and evolving patient response together — continuously and in context.
ANESTHETIC STATE INTELLIGENCE
We define Anesthetic State Intelligence (ASI) as a framework for integrating pharmacological, physiological and contextual information into a continuously evolving interpretation of the patient's anesthetic state.
ASI is not intended to replace existing monitoring technologies, pharmacological models or clinical expertise.
It explores how these capabilities can work together as part of an integrated clinical-intelligence system.
What is happening?
What effect should we expect?
How should predicted and observed response be interpreted together?
What action may merit clinical consideration?
CURRENT DEVELOPMENT
Adaptive Anesthesia AI has progressed beyond conceptual exploration into active computational development.
Computational simulation of evolving pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic and patient-response states.
Investigation of the relationship between drug delivery, predicted drug effect and observed patient response.
Exploration of prospective therapeutic recommendations based on evolving anesthetic-state information.
Recommendations can be reviewed, accepted or rejected while preserving clinician authority.
These capabilities currently constitute a research and development environment and have not yet undergone prospective clinical validation.
CLINICIAN-IN-THE-LOOP
Adaptive Anesthesia AI is currently being developed as clinician-in-the-loop decision-support technology.
The current system does not autonomously modify anesthetic delivery.
Clinical authority remains with the anesthesiologist. This principle is fundamental to our development approach.
